The Benedictine Reform Monastery surrounded by reeds is located in the Seeon Lake District nature reserve. The way there is really enchanted, it leads over an old wooden bridge. The friendly white monastery, is today a cultural and educational centre, and unfortunately somewhat overhauled. But the baroque monastery buildings, which were rebuilt after a fire in 1561, are still worth a visit and above all the monastery church painted with Renaissance frescoes. The young Mozart was already a guest here.
