Kommendören is one of those restaurants where you simply feel right at home. This is mainly due to the cordial charisma of the employees, but also the unagitated atmosphere á la industrial style, which reminds more of a bistro in Brooklyn than in Stockholm, makes the restaurant what it is – a nice neighbourhood restaurant, a little off the beaten track, but still only a few minutes away from Stureplan. The menu includes fried tuna, lobster taco, Asian beef tartare and mango salad. The food is good, but not unusual, rather the atmosphere and hospitality conquers the heart of the guests. For dessert, one should not miss the homemade ice cream with lemon quark and meringue.
