Kuchi stands for Japanese food in a trendy atmosphere with wooden benches at long tables. It is a real classic in Mitte and Charlottenburg and ideal for a light lunch. The clientele is mixed, rather young and modern, but many fathers or mothers with children also lunch there after school. The choice between Don’s – rice with grilled fish -, sushi, tempura and Udon’s – noodle soups – is perfect and of consistent quality for years. This branch, in contrast to the one in Charlottenburg, has a beautiful courtyard garden and a lounge.
