The Venetian’s main staple seems to be fish – not a surprise in a city surrounded by water. For those who prefer meat to fish or are looking for variety, La Bitta is the right address. Instead of fish, the cozy and rustic Osteria serves straccetti di pollo ai finferli (chicken stripes with chanterelles) or Gnocchi with Ricotta and pumpkin. The menu changes nearly every day and the kitchen nearly exclusively uses regional produce.
