There is an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia in this bakery, which has been offering sourdough bread, brioche, tartes and quiche since 1989. Over the years it has successfully established itself as a brand with considerable distribution; the bread is now available in several gourmet food shops and supermarkets. That every loaf is hand-made is therefore no longer guaranteed. Nevertheless, the original La Brea location – where everything started – still spouts charm, above all the baker George.
