Every Saturday established Madrilènes have a snack at Lhardy after finishing their shopping spree. The place is small and crowded so you should be aware of the “rules”: Pick up some salty snacks from the old-fashioned vitrine, order a glass of wine when you’re lucky enough to catch one of the busy waiters and then consume everything while standing in the crowd. Lhardy is one of the most pompous delis in town offering its own brands and an excellent selection of wine. Upstairs you find their gourmet restaurant.
