Locale 21

Locale 21 has been an absolute hit since day one and there’s a big competition for a table here. So make sure you book early. Locale 21 is very nice, but not fancy. It simply has a perfect balance of coziness and casualness and is ideal for a business lunch, an evening with friends or an evening for two. The guests are a colorful, good-looking mix of all ages. The food is the best agniolotti del Pliin outside of Piedmont and the creamiest risotto Milanese. The former is small, envelope-shaped pasta stuffed with rich veal shank and spinach, while the risotto is creamy and yellow with saffron and topped with a real cube of brasato (slow-braised beef). For the main course, be sure to order the turbot with chimi di rappa – a real gentleman’s dish.
