Lokal is a modern version of the Prague beer house. Its simple furniture, white walls and classic brown wooden tables combine well with other more playful elements like white wood paneling and woodcarvings showing movie and city scenes. The centerpiece in the room is a big, impressive beer tank behind the see-through counter, which offers liters of beer for the guests every evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and beer enthusiasts can try many different varieties: „Šnit“ – half beer, half foam – is a perfect companion for Prague ham with “Kren” (cream with grated horseradish). Lokal offers a variety of hearty specialties that prepare you for more than one beer (which is likely to be necessary here) including Davle black pudding, dishes with beer or tripe soup.
