The Loosmannshof is an old farmstead, situated at 680 metres and surrounded by vineyards and deciduous forest. There is a strict division of labour on the farm – Sepp is the farmer and takes care of the farming, after all he owns around 3 hectares of vineyards. Martha, on the other hand, is the boss in the kitchen and does it with excellence. Martha has a knack for peasant home cooking: barley soup, bacon, cheese and spinach dumplings, home-made sausages and for dessert there is her speciality: Knieküchel. And quite apart from the heavenly food, there is also a beautiful hike to the Loosmannshof, with a magnificent view of the Bolzano valley basin.
