The small tapas bar Los Gatos looks as if the furniture and decorations from the flea shops and antique shops in the area had been collected – with a great sense of humour: memorabilia from earlier bullfights, richly embroidered torero jackets, photos of famous people and lots of Chichi. But it’s not only the bizarre ambience that makes the tapas bar what it is, but also the Vermú, the deliciously toasted toast – tapas on toast – the friendly manner of the waiters and the fair price-performance ratio make the Los Gatos a good address for an uncomplicated evening.
