Magnolia

The Magnolia is located in one of the most beautiful squares in Lisbon – Praça das Flores – a lovely tree-lined square. The charming wine bar with its beautifully frescoed ceiling not only serves good drinks, but also all kinds of small but delicious snacks. During the day, there are brunch classics, heavenly pistachio croissants and seasonal soups. In the evening, you should definitely try the baked camembert in honey, one of the mushroom dishes and the legendary Magnolia lemon tart. It’s best to order a little of everything in the centre and share it. The Magnolia feels a bit like an extension of a living room, with neighbours dropping by, the hip crowd of Lisbon and guests enjoying a casual yet romantic atmosphere with candlelight and the clinking of glasses. A reservation is definitely recommended.
