The concept of Merci inspires from the word go. The spacious, loft-like building offers not only wonderful shopping, but also the opportunity to support charitable projects through donations on every item sold. Spread over several levels, designer pieces (Isabel Marant, Paul & Joe, Stella McCartney, Acne…), furniture and design objects, cosmetics, kids’ clothing and flowers are thoughtfully arranged. Some collections are exclusive to Merci, employing a sustainable approach and alternative production methods. Breaks from shopping can be enjoyed over a tea in the Used Book Café, surrounded by tall bookshelves, or alternatively in the open cellar Restaurant with healthy snacks and a view of the wonderful, green garden.
