Barely recognizable as a café, Miró manufactura de café in Kreis 4 looks like a minimalist concept store – raw concrete, red terrazzo, precisely staged tranquillity. But those who enter will be rewarded: with hand-roasted coffee, fine brunch and a pinch of Melbourne flair. Daniel and David Sanchez serve the best from their own roastery. At the weekend, young Zurich meets up for banana bread with espresso butter or tortillas made by Señor Sanchez himself. A favorite place for coffee nerds – and anyone who wants to become one.
