One of Milan’s most important museums is Museo del Novecento, dedicated to 20th century Italian art. Located at Palazzo dell’Argengario on Piazza del Duomo, its permanent exhibit comprises almost 400 works of art, including pieces by Umberto Boccioni, Giacomo Balla, Giorgio de Chirico, Arturo Martini, and Fausto Melotti. Besides Italian artists, Museo del Novecento also houses work by foreign artists, such as Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Paul Klee, Kandinsky, and Amedeo Modigliani. They furthermore have changing exhibits by individual artists and groups.
