After crossing a delightful park in which local families living in the Vomero quarter stroll on Sundays, picnicking in the shade of its tall hedges, you reach the Villa Floridiana, a 19th- century Neoclassical edifice from which the view of the gulf is sublime. Within, in an almost humble atmosphere, a magnificient exhibition of porcelain from Marseille, Meissen, Delft, Capodimonte, Palermo and Sienna constitutes the permanent collection of the museums ceramics.
