In Bregenz there is this beautiful central square – with the art gallery, with a weekly market and Vorarlberg Museum. And of course there are a lot of places where you can enjoy yourself, eat, drink … And here a museum café is recommended? Well, why do you think there are so many locals in a museum café? Early in the morning for breakfast. Well, because there’s an excellent menu. Just the Wähen (sheet cakes) are worth a visit – daily changing and filled with seasonal fruit. But also the soups are recommended, or a small Tramenzini – all made with local products. That’s why of course the mountain cheese and forest bacon are not to be missed. And there are also vegetarian quiches and everything is deliberately baked from spelt flour – in a bakery that employs over 20 people. But it belongs to the main building, the Theater Café right opposite. But the museum café has simply brought the whole subject more modern. The fact that there is also a whole, ultra-modern Vorarlberg museum, in which traditional things are shown in the most modern form of presentation, makes things even rounder.
