Saturday is market day – and Náplavka is the ideal start into the weekend. Located directly at Vlatva’s waterside, this place is perfect to stroll from stall to stall and see what farmers from the region have to offer in the season: Fruit, vegetables, flowers, coffee and wine from Moravia as well as dairy, including heavenly goat’s cheese. Thanks to the citizens’ cooperation Archetype it became possible to maintain such a producers market again. After the last market in the Pankrác quarter had been closed down, it promoted the reopening of the three markets Náplavka, Kuban and Jirák.
