All you have to do is walk down the hallway of the slip, pass through a leather-clad door and you’re already standing in the 2-star restaurant of Nordic cuisine pioneer Magnus Ek. In comparison to the detail-loving briefs, it’s subtle and reassuring here and the interior brings Japanese aesthetics and Scandinavian simplicity into one. The view into the open kitchen, where creations such as sea hare roe, Iceland mussels or carrot sorbet are prepared, is particularly great.
