Ojo de Agua is one of many projects by writer, musician and entrepreneur Dieter Meier. Translated, it means “water’s eye” and is used in Argentina to describe waterholes in the pampa that cattle drink from. Dieter Meier’s farm in Mendoza, from where he gets his delicious beef and exclusive organic wines for his restaurants, carries the same name. Meier owns two venues in Zurich: Restaurant Bärengasse and restaurant and winery Ojo de Agua. It is very small and thus difficult to get a table, but worth wile waiting. Just like at Bärengasse, food and wines are delicious. A must for meat enthusiasts!
