This former pharmacy is the newest favorite meeting point in Kreuzberg. Today Ora Apotheke is a cafe, bar and brasserie all at the same time. The old pharmacy cabinets still hold mortars and pestles, the sales counter has been transformed into a bar, and all of it exudes a wonderful Vienna coffeehouse charm. For food, there is millet salad with apricots, goulash, red beet salad with sesame and humus, as well as lots of cakes. Once it gets dark, Ora transforms into a night pharmacy, or better yet, a bar with miracle cures of a different kind.
