As the name suggests, the Osteria ai Pugni is located right next to the Ponte Dei Pugni (“Bridge of the Fists”), which was a popular area in the Renaissance, where the first battles between rival clans took place. The four corners of the bridge still have four remarkable layouts, which indicate the starting point for the fighters. The bar, which already has more than 30 hairs on its back, has been modernised but still has a classic Venetian charm.
In the Osteria ai Pugni you can sit wonderfully on the bridge, see the world pass by, and take a sensory journey through the Italian regions, their history and their peculiarities. A beautiful place to enjoy a glass of wine or a few snacks.
