On the edge of a small canal near the Giardini is the Osteria al Ponte. The small cicchetti bar off the beaten track is an insider’s tip and a favourite restaurant of the residents of the Castello. It is the perfect place to stop for a moment, enjoy a splash along the canal and have a snack. Also in the evening you can sit here by the canal, a great romantic atmosphere to end the day with an apero and a Tramezzini. But one should be prepared that there are only little things to eat here.
