Osteria La Bomba

The Osteria La Bomba is located to the east of the Ca’ d’Oro, in a small alleyway parallel to the Strada Nova. It serves delicious genuine cicchetti, typical Venetian fish dishes and matching wines from Veneto. The man behind Osteria La Bomba is Tommaso Medici, who comes from a real Venetian gastronomic family, as La Sete and Rioba are also run by the Medicis. The charming thing about La Bomba, apart from the good food, is the large, cosy table where everyone can sit together – whether you know each other or not. Be sure to order the untraditional cicchetti with veal head and giardiniera, they taste heavenly here. The only thing to criticise at La Bomba is the relatively small portions.
