The Osteria Le Logge is an institution in the side street of Siena, just a few steps from Piazza del Campo. In 1978 Gianni Brunelli and his wife Laura opened a restaurant full of character in the former drugstore. Even today, the floor-to-ceiling original cupboards remind us of their original purpose. But you have to admit that this is not a secret tip. At noon most tourists sit at the tables, but in the evening, when the piazza empties, the restaurant fills up with Italians, artists and politicians. But one thing always remains the same – the cheerful atmosphere, a mixture of the rattling of plates and cutlery and Italian temperament. We strongly recommend reserving a table on the lower (more charming) floor!
