The Padaria Central is the legendary address to start your day in Lagos. In general, one can count the bakeries in Lagos on one hand, but that doesn’t matter, as the Padaria Central is one of the best bakeries in Portugal. Since 1906, delicious Pastéis de Nata are baked here every day, that probably wrap everybody with their fine puff pastry and their perfectly creamy pudding cream around the finger. But also the Bort with its crispy rind, the coffee and the wonderfully fragrant cakes are worth a detour to the Padaria Central.
