This fabulous Genoese villa in the historic center was built as a private residence for Jean-Paul Lascaris-Ventimille in the 17th century and comprehensively restored in 1963. The dome in the entrance area shows the family crest stating: “Nec me fulgura” (Even a lightning bolt will not kill me) The perfectly preserved baroque interior and the frescos on the ceilings showing mythological motifs on the first floor of the four-story palace are worth seeing. The villa also houses changing exhibitions.
