Parco dei Principi

The Parco dei Principe sits high above the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast in one of the most romantic areas in the world. At least as spectacular as the view is the interior of the hotel, for which Gio Ponti is responsible. With his concept he has proven that good design ages beautifully. You can hardly get enough of the finely designed blue and white tiled floors, the majolica tiles in the bar, the ceramic pebbles in the lobby, the blue lacquered kidney tables, the blue upholstered seating, the Ponti tableware created for the hotel and the sky-blue salt water pool with an elegant, geometrically shaped concrete springboard at its edge.
