The list of artists represented at Paule Anglim is a varied as it is international, full of unknown upstarts and players on a global scale including Tony Oursler and Robert Bechtle, the chronicler of American daily life. For the past 30 years, this gallerist has enormously influenced San Francisco’s art scene, from the Beats and conceptual art to almost every other art movement in California. Today she is still in the thick of it and her openings remain gatherings of the who’s-who in the Bay Area.
