Chez Fritz, Munich’s most beautiful brasserie in Haidhausen, has had an offspring, Petit Fritz. And the little brother can be found in the somewhat younger district, more precisely in Hohenzollernstraße in Schwabing. Like its big brother, the ambience here is pure French – light tiles, Chesterfield sofa and simply on point in terms of taste. But it’s not just the interior of Petit Fritz that shows taste, the menu does too. Unlike Chez Fritz, however, things are a bit more down-to-earth here and the culinary focus is on tartines, toasted sourdough sandwiches with different toppings. Whether with lobster or sour pickled boiled beef, there’s something for everyone here. Oh, how we simply love Fritz, whether big or small!
