The Pirate Bus is one of the most famous beach bars on Formentera and its history is a very special one. As the name suggests, this bar was originally located in a bus that was parked and abandoned near Migjorn beach due to a technical fault. Later in the 80s, the old bus was dumped and replaced by a wooden bar and not much has changed since then – the Pirate Bus is the perfect place to enjoy some simple but good tapas and a drink in the sunset while listening to rock music from the sixties. The atmosphere is unique.
