The two siblings Lisa and Jonas have fallen in love with everyday life in Byron Bay and have now brought a piece of it to Giesing, complete with perfect flat whites, delicious cakes and vegetarian and vegan breakfast options. Poppi, by the way, stands for grandpa in Australian – and so the café is also a tribute to Lisa’s and Jonah’s grandfather, because as a farmer on Lake Starnberg, he was committed to producing good food. And his grandchildren are following in his footsteps, because Poppi Farmer is climate-neutral through and through. What a beautiful story!
