The Rain Cafeatery is a bit off the beaten track of Ottensen – but an absolute highlight for all breakfast lovers. It starts with the fact that the good coffee comes from the Hamburger Kaffeerösterei Mr. Hoban. The menu, on the other hand, is inspired by the Australian lifestyle, in the sense that Breakfast at is the best. From pastrami sandwiches to homemade granola, crispy sourdough bread with avocado, humus and poached egg, fluffy pancakes with peaches and mascarpone or the famous Eggs Benedict. If you are a late riser, you can also indulge yourself at lunch. Here you will find a soup of the day on the table and all kinds of tarts and cookies lure you out of the glass showcase.
