Right in the middle of modern high-rises of the Ponte Garibaldi district, hides a beautiful art nouveau villa from days long past. Nestled into a large garden, it is an oasis for all those bankers and epicures working in the surrounding financial institutes. The architecture is striking and their menu is truly unique. Of course, Ratana serves Lombard classics, like risotto or ossobuco alla Milanese. Yet at the same time their menu is seasonal, regional, and in accordance with slow food standards. The villa once served as a storage unit for the railway, which is still evident in the villa’s interior design.
