Vineyards at the back, Lake Constance at the front. The location of the Haltnau vineyard near Meersburg couldn’t be more beautiful! In the beer garden, the water ripples almost like at the sea, deckchairs are set up on the shore and invite you to linger. The outdoor area of the traditional winery is open from April to October. Classic varieties such as Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Gris are grown and offered here. The mild climate is ideal for fine wines. Most of the guests keep coming back. In the garden, it’s self-service and there are only homemade pinsa. But it tastes great. The restaurant attached to it is more upmarket, the menu offers a lot, but the ambience here is rather poor.
