The Relais de l’Entrecôte Saint-Germain is one of the places I have to visit when I visit Paris. This restaurant is a true family-run institution. There are now three restaurants, all run by the siblings of the Gineste de Saurs family. But the roots lie in Le Relais de Venise, opened in 1959 in the 17th arrondissement. The peculiarity: Only one dish is served here – the best entrecôte in the city. Even the Parisians patiently stand in line for this. But it’s not only worth a visit for the steak, it’s also worth a visit to enjoy the charming French atmosphere. Because the serving is exclusively left to ladies in black uniforms with white lace aprons!
