Remulass stands for wild radish in Italian or Milanese dialect, and that describes the philosophy of the cuisine, which cooks primarily with “roots”, very well. It is almost impossible to get a table at Remulass without a reservation. Similar to its sister restaurant Rataná, Remulass has become an absolute favourite among Milanese. The ambience is intimate, with few seats, but very familiar and cosy. And the cooking skills of self-taught chef Laura Santosuosso are simply stunning. She manages to combine tradition and creativity in her dishes with bravura. There are usually only a few dishes on the menu, but they have a lot going for them, and you can tell by the homemade bread. And just as likeable is that the Remulass is an almost exclusively female team. The only pity is that the restaurant is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
