Le 52 is the place to be in the 10th arrondissement. The man behind it, Charles Compagnon, is a colourful dog in the Parisian gastronomy scene who, after his success with the two restaurants Le Richer and l’Office, has now transformed an old butcher’s shop into the Le 52 and has once again done everything right. The interior is by Gesa Hansen, the food is innovative and the dishes are arranged like a work of art. And anyway the burrata and the desserts are “to die for” as the regulars say. However, a reservation is not possible here, but the restaurant is open every day from midday until evening, so the chance of a place is relatively high. Those who don’t have time for food should at least stop by for a delicious Campagnon coffee.
