Restaurante Triciciclo is located in the charming Barrio de las Letras, the literary quarter of Madrid. The name Triciciclo means tricycle in Spanish and alludes to the trio of young restaurateurs who run the Slow Food Restaurant. The concept is wonderfully simple and hospitable – guests have the option of ordering three different portion sizes from all the dishes and all at humane prices. The menu is divided into three chapters – “Going to market with the tricycle”, where the focus is on natural ingredients, “A walk on the tricycle”, where classic dishes are reinterpreted and the chapter “A trip on the tricycle” offers views of the cuisines of other countries. Our absolute favourites include the tuna potato ceviche and the green gazpacho with oysters.
