The Rijsel has dedicated itself to French cuisine and is particularly famous for its fried chicken. Otherwise there are constantly changing cards, which are rather small and selected. The makers Pieter Smits and Iwan Driessen trust completely in their idea of a good restaurant and have a resounding success. The restaurant is so heavily frequented – especially by locals – that you take the luxury out of simply closing on weekends.
Set in a mix of classic meets 60´s design, the Rijsel is extremely lively and inviting. We liked the noisy, cosy atmosphere, into which you are immediately drawn. You should definitely make a reservation.
