Under the dense green jungle of plants in the pergola, long stone tables with dark red tablecloths are lined up. Large industrial lamps illuminate the individual tables and create a modern city feeling. In another corner of the terrace is the bar area, with wooden bar tables and sheepskins on the stools. The interior of Restaurante da Gina continues this style. It is a mixture of modern hut feeling, industrial chic and beer garden. Christoph Eichenberger and Gina Sprenger have been running their restaurant Da Gina since 2009. While she is the namesake and comes from northern Germany, he is a native of Switzerland. The concept of the two is the combination of pizza and grill. An Italian pizza maker is responsible for the former, who prepares the huge pizzas in a stone oven. His creations range from classic Italian pizzas to unusual combinations with pineapple and mascarpone or smoked salmon and onion rings. On the grill are spareribs, veal Ossobucco, steak, scampi and the daily catch from the lake. There are also salads, antipasti and homemade pasta. Da Gina is an uncomplicated alternative to the ubiquitous grotti.
