Platja de Mitjorn is not quite as Caribbean and less spectacular than Formentera’s most beautiful beaches, but it is very relaxed. Around the beach shack Sunsplash there is a refreshingly colourful mix of people and plenty to see. Everything your heart desires can be found in a relatively small area. Wide sandy beaches, ideal for children as well as nudists, a casual beach shack and the wonderfully unpretentious beach restaurant Sa Platgeta. Red chairs, wooden tables and white plastic tables are tucked away under a thatched roof and shady trees, where families and friends dine in large groups. The sea peeps out from behind the bushes and trees, sparkling and glittering. The fish are super fresh – delicious, for example, the fried baby squid, “chipirones rebozados”, but also the “bullit de peix”. In general, all typical, simple fish dishes are recommended. Very hidden, very simple, very nice! High beach and wellbeing factor!
