In Salt’s Cure the menu changes every day and is scratched onto the wall in chalk. Most of the dishes prepared in the open kitchen are meat-based and come from the best Californian farms. Everything here is home-made, from the sourdough bread through the paté to the lamb sausage. Even the wine and beer are organic and local. Pleasingly, there are no superfluous interior details to distract one’s gaze while sitting at the simple wooden tables and enjoying a glass of wine. The delicious menu includes Avocado Grapefruit Salad, Mussels in Ale, and the Bacon Cheese Burger.
