The owner of the well known restaurant Septime opened a new hotspot. Right around the corner from Septime, Bertrand Grebaut converted an old cobbler’s worshop into a wine shop. In the small space covering just a few square meters wines for every budget and every taste are stockpiled. Aside from French wines, Septime La Cave also carries imported bottles, which is not to be taken for granted in France. A small bar is nestled between the wine shelves. Those who are lucky enough to get a seat may strengthen themselves with a glass of wine and some tapas. The menu changes on a weekly basis but will usually feature such delicacies as sardines in herb butter, fennel salami, foie gras, and smoked eel. All in addition to a glass of Herve Villemades’ white Loire or a red Loire from Sebastian Bobinet.
