A large wooden bar on bricks stretches through the bar, which has been an inherent part of Cologne’s nightlife for years. Clearly the focus is on cocktails and long drinks, just as one would expect from a proper bar. There is a vast variety of recipes, even in-house creations can be found on the menu.
If spoilt for choice, owner and bartender Dominique Simon and his partners at the bar are happy to give professional advice. Each drink is prepared with fresh ingredients and high quality spirits, so there is just no way you go home disappointed. It’s no wonder that the Spirits with its dedicated team was nominated for the Mixology “bar of the year“ award in 2010. The blend of enjoyment, relaxation and good music here is just superb.
