Behind the Standard hides a small Italian jewel, right at the end of the Great Freedom. In addition to the drinks, curated down to the last detail – here we recommend especially the cucumber spritzer with homemade cucumber syrup – there are always small snacks, the so-called “Stuzzichini”, which are always so large that they (theoretically) fit on a toothpick. Chef Mina is at the heart of the concept and is inspired daily at Hamburg’s markets for her innovative culinary creations. And when on warm summer evenings the sash windows are still opened, and you can enjoy your drinks on the windowsill, you almost feel like you are in Italy!
