The Storm King Art Center in Upstate New York is the perfect destination for a Saturday outing. This unique sculpture park is located just outside the city in the midst of greenery. Here you can stroll through sculptures by Mark Di Suvero, Alexander Liberman, Nam June Paik, Josef Pillhofer, David Smith, Claes Oldenburg, Roy Lichtenstein and many others. A small streetcar – of course, the Americans take it comfortably – takes you past the mostly large-format sculptures. A great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for half a day!
