Meet the locals. If we didn’t know, we would have seen it immediately: The Stout & Co is run by an architectural firm that is located in the same building as the 6 apartments. It’s like being right in the middle of Amsterdam life – in the north in one of the new trendy residential districts. The apartments all have their own basic colour (we were in the Blue Room) and can be used as real residential units: A kitchen area with a dining table at the entrance, a bathroom in the middle and a bed at the back of the window. Needless to say, you will meet old acquaintances like the Eames chairs combined with beautiful materials for the bathrooms and floors. Breakfast is also served in the straight meeting room of the architectural office.
