The Stubn could be called the new “insider tip” in the Bavarian Alps. But at the same time the secret spreads from enthusiasm of the guests also like wildfire. So we firmly expect that the Stubn no longer long remains an insider tip. Nevertheless, try it out necessarily. More precisely, you can find the Stubn in the Frasdorfer Hütte – also called “Frasi” – on a high plateau in the Chiemgau Alps, 950 meters above sea level. Here, the young, hip chef Max Müller, who previously stood at the stove at Berlin’s Nobelhart und Schmutzig, has taken the philosophy of “brutally local” to heart. It takes just under an hour to walk from the Frasdorf parking lot to the Stubn. Arrived, one is spoiled by delicious, regional meals and wines. True to the motto: the good grows so close.
