The Tate Modern is one of the biggest building projects for a museum in England. The architects, Herzog & de Meuron, have created a phenomenal exhibition space for modern and contemporary art while demonstrating due respect for the original old building. Some of the works, however, appear a little lost in these vast rooms. A new bridge connects the Bank District with the Tate Modern. The café and restaurant boast the best views of London, unfortunately the food is rather mediocre and expensive too.
