Taverna ton Filon

In the rather gloomy neighborhood, where most of the streetlights are broken, the inviting glow of Taverna ton Filon can be seen from afar. In summer, all the tables are moved outside under a large canopy. The cheerful staff take their time advising guests on their selection. In addition to a fine selection of Greek wines, the menu also features international wines – reasonably priced and generously served. The cuisine is regional with a modern twist: the grilled grapes with goat cheese from Attica are a wonderful snack, the stuffed vine leaves with tahini and lemon are a delight, and the grilled main courses satisfy even the biggest appetites. Full and tipsy, you slip into the darkness as the dim light of the taverna slowly fades behind you.
